You don't need counterbalancing.... The ones that need it are just over concerned about something that is not a problem!! Put the polar pro on.. Power up.... Fly....
I installed a t10j on my phantom and for more fine tuned controls it's great.. Range??? We'll, The stocker wins but only by a little bit and to be honest it is was stupid to fly it as far as it would go (1/2 mile+)...
Unless you need more fine precise controls stick with the stocker!! It works...
Get the polar pro... Mount it to your GoPro on the phantom... Turn phantom on and fly...
I have at least 80 flights with an unbalanced polar pro and it is PERFECT!!!! I have flown in three different countries and one of these places had constant 20+MPH winds!!! No prob at all!!
Not saying what I am doing is right but I have now had AT LEAST 10 hours of flying with an unbalanced polar pro and have experienced zero problems..... Even had a very hard... well lets be honest... crash landing with it and everything instill fine!!
Also many of that 10 hours was in Aruba...

Nothing wrong with your gimbal.
You have battery clearance issues... An easy fix!!
The above post should be made a sticky!!!
Re: H3-3D gimbal top yaw motor hits battery housing inside..
Long discussion on this topic.
In my opinion this should be made a sticky. :!: :?: I think many of the problems people are reporting with the gimbal are directly related to this issue and it is easily corrected.
Tom, opened it up and connection is perfect!! flew 4 batteries full with at the house yesterday and no problems whatsoever!!
Starting to strongly believe that the river and/or bridge where causing some odd interference!
Phanto sorry for your loss!!!!
Impri ill try to get the clip uploaded today.
With your battery out look in the battery opening... You will see the motor and some plastic surrounding it. Is the top of the motor close to the top of the plastic or well below the top? If its close i would say you need thicker washers. Since the washers seemed to help it may still be close...

Allan, Ive thought of this but obviously I have NO CLUE???
This is the first time I had flown around a structure like this and was also the first time that I noticed the intermittent and sudden loss/regain of GPS signal.
Could a metal bridge cause this????? Doesnt seem to with my car GPS but...
So I have had the phantom for about a month now and fly just about every day.
Getting ramped up for a trip to Aruba (taking the phantom) and expect to encounter wind and wanted to get some practice in ATTI mode so I studied up and turned on Naza-M mode today for the first time...
Most of my...
Hey kelso... Glad it fixed your issue too!!
Captain... A very thin washer should be good enough!! Not much clearance is needed but makes such a big difference!!
Cutting the battery plastics should work fine as long as it gives you the needed clearance!!! I personally wasn't to keen on cutting the battery so I chose the washers.. Same prob, different approach post bCk if it works for you!!!
