I want at least a 2 axis gimbal, I want to be able to tilt down, it doesn't have to be stabilized, but that is always a plus. Anyone else have any ideas?
Hey everyone, I want to purchase the new version of the Phantom 2 and mount a Nikon 1 J4 camera with FPV. It weighs about 300g. Anyone know how I would do this? Thanks!
I have trouble with anything over 700ft. Sometimes I can reach 800ft but I start getting signal lost messages around 700ft. I will maintain pretty good FPV signal at 700-800ft, but I lose tx signal. What should I look at as possible problems? Thanks!
ElGuano, I like your thinking. For me though its not entirely about cost. Sure I want to be efficient with my money, but really its about size. I really want something small and portable. Even with the folding arms, the S900 has a large footprint for traveling.
The Tarot 680 Pro looks very tempting! That might be exactly what I need. I really like the way it folds, my biggest issue is size, I need it to stay small. I think this might be the smallest heavy lifter I have seen. Thanks ElGuano.
Ok so I want to be literal. Below is my projected build with according weights obtained from spec sheets. Is this correct? If so anyone experienced enough to estimate flight times? Also is there anything I am missing? Or anything I should add/subtract? Thanks!

E600...
I am looking to build an F550, I am looking at the E300 or the E600 Tuned Propulsion Systems for it. From what I can see the E600 is a clear winner. at 1600g per axis and a total lift of 9.6kg thats a significant increase in lift over the E300 system. Even with having to use the heavier 6S...
Ok so I have reworked some of my ideas thanks to everyones responses, I appreciate all the info!
My new plan is to replace the current stock vision+ camera with this gimbal which is 140g(http://www.quadrocopter.com/MK-HiSight-III-Bridge_p_107.html) and the Sony RX100 II which is...
I understand I can get smaller cameras, but I want the best image quality available. My question is, will it fly with an 800g payload? If not what is the most it could handle with around 10 minutes of flight time? Also I know I can build a larger copter, but I want to keep it small. Cost is...
Hey everyone, I love my Vision+ because of its small size and easy portability, but I hate the camera. Question #1: Is it possible to replace the stock vision+ camera with a mirrorless and still use the built in FPV (adapter or solder wires together??)? Question #2: Will it fly? The total...
