I think it probably did just that. Still have no idea why it took off as I did not do the stick inputs as shown in Airdata...gremlins, I guess. Going to try it again when I get a chance.

I have done several waypoint missions and never had an issue until this one. Startup went normal, load mission, start and confirm. Headed to Waypoint #1 and flew erratically then took off in a different direction unrelated to the programmed path. Briefly saw a message flash about connecting to...

A nice feature of Litchi is the audio feedback which means I don’t have to check the screen for current status of my flight info. Definitely prefer it over GoApp.

To my understanding, Course Lock is the same as the 'headless' mode. When set, course lock will lock the right stick movement so that up is forward, down is back, left is left and right is right regardless of what direction the bird is actually pointing. Home Lock locks right stick down action...

iPad Air 2 wifi cellular. Absolutely no problems with P3P and Mavic. I too have switched to IOS after a lifetime of Windows/MS/Android. IOS platform much more stable. The higher cost is offset by longevity.
