Turn off Bluetooth if it's on. After your map has updated and populated , put the tablet in airplane mode. That will free up resources for the video.

Got my Nexus 7 2013 model at Micro Center Electronics for $99.95. 16 gauge total storage with 2 gig ram. 720 HD resolution. Works fantastic. They have fairly good prices on the DJI replacement parts.

Storm in Dallas on 3/23 pm with wind's maxing out at 42mph at times. 300 feet up. Just as I touched down the hail started and barely got in the house. Had I been up 4 min longer.... :-( But I got some good footage :-)

Good question. When I lose video I hit return to home button. I wouldn't trust the app at that point until I regain video signal. I don't like flying blind. Especially over water. My wallet's not that big.
