Jim started his working life as a commercial pilot and flight instructor rated in instrument single and multi-engine land and private priveleges in gliders. Though he still loved to fly a career change took him into computers and freelance photography. Drones were a natural fit for his photographers eye and his love for photography. He got his Section 333 and later with his Certificate of Authorization he became the first person authorized to fly drones commercially within the Central Illinois RegionalAirport's class D airspace. Even though he has his Part 107 Remote Pilot license he frequently flies under his 333 rather than waiting upto 90 days for airspace authorization.
