First of all, the FAA can't make laws - only develop guidelines and regulations. The federal government has no authority whatsoever to regulate the operation of remote-controlled model aircraft.

I'm moving to Arizona and want to start an LLC with my Phantom working for realtors taking aerial shots of houses for sale and contractors for roof inspections, etc. Anybody know what's involved and how much of a pain I can expect?

Re: Here we go... drone deliberately flown at passenger airl My Vision Plus has all airports in the US programmed into it along with the radius of no-fly zones. Maybe this needs to become mandatory to avoid this issue. Just a thought.
