Just did my first Dronebase/Allstate job, and it wasn't bad. 45 minutes on site, and $150. Most of the shots turned out to be ground as there were outbuildings/decks/grills/etc. I think, if I get enough of them, I could probably trim the onsite time down to 20-30 minutes.

Just got contacted to shoot four hours of wedding footage, and to edit said footage. I have no clue what to charge for this, as it seems pricing is all over the place. I've been doing mostly real estate work, so this is a new arena for me. How would you guys/gals price this?

Did the client mission on Monday, and I guess they liked it as we got paid within a couple hours of uploading the files. Thanks for all the help!

Can anyone give me info on the cardinal directions shots? I have a client mission to do, and according to DB, you treat the front of the building as North, and shoot them that way. I had assumed you shot them true North, South, etc. Kinda confused on this.

You are right. It would be nice to have the ability to have curved waypoints up to, say waypoint 6, and then from 6 to 7, have a straight line so you could do actions @ waypoint 7.

I did my first long waypoint mission on Saturday. I flew from my house to a friends house, and had the Phantom tilt the camera straight down, hover for 30 seconds above his house, tilt the camera back up, and continue on the mission. It worked great, with no issues, but it seems you can only...

So I took a video over the weekend at my brother's house. I'm noticing in the video that the cloud shadows are moving across the ground in a stuttering movement. It's actually quite odd considering how smooth the video is. Not sure if it is an effect caused my the trees or what. Fast forward...

Agree totally with Mr. Salty. Upload your video to Youtube, then go to the Video Manager. Click on the Edit down arrow to the right of your video name, and pick "Audio". There it will suggest some royalty free music based on the length of your video. Works great!
