    Anyone using Headplay FPV Goggles?

I have tried several and I love my Headplay! I also wear glasses, so this leaves out most other displays. I recommend getting the 3rd party lens mod from RHO. This changes the normal 7" focal point to 16" (much better for us older folks - display is now crystal clear). I have used it...

Without a doubt -- Headplay HD PPV goggles... for several reasons: 1. Cheaper.... about $250 Has 5.8ghz reciever and a HDMI input 2. I wear glasses. Can still use the Headplay even with glasses on. 3. I also bought a 3rd party updated lens from RHO. All goggles I have seen...

Apple lightning to HDMI cable to FS V3

Yes and no! I tried using the Apple lightning adapter that sported both a lightning and a HDMI socket. Plugged the cord between the adapter and my controller, my headplay into the hdmi and the lightning cord into my i-pad. Got hdmi output to the headplay, but no video to the i-pad...

Litchi question please help...FPV dual screen monitor display..

Best combination I have experienced so far is using an ipad as my main display and using a headplay in the hdmi port for when I need to see better detail (especially in bright sunlight). Just be sure you have an observer to help when you are using the headplay.

    Phantom 3 - HDMI Output Module (Pro/Adv)

Do a firmware update. Seems that some of the functions, especially the OSD items, may not install with the update if the module is not installed at the time. I found, with both a Phantom 3 Pro and a Phantom 4, that doing a firmware update immediately after installation cured everything and...

    Phantom 3 - HDMI Output Module (Pro/Adv)

I have installed two of these HDMI boards....the first on a Phantom 3 Pro and the second on a Phantom 4. In both cases, I found that if you install the board and immediately do a firmware update, they work great! Apparently some of the functions, as well as the additional OSD options, are...

Flying with drone out of eyesight

The greatest danger to flying too high or out of visual range is to other aircraft. In our area especially, we have high EMS and Law Enforcement helicopter traffic. There have already been several instances, some from local news media, of near misses between uav's and EMS helicopters on...

Have you upgraded from P4 to P4P?

Have been making several comparisons with many great comments here and youtube comparisons. Seems the 12mp to 20mp increase is somewhat misleading since it is more a case of moving to the larger 1" format. In the comparisons I have seen so far, it seems to be more an advantage of the...

    Filming after dark?

Just remember the FAA rules. 1 Hour before sunrise to 1 Hour after sunset ONLY. You cannot fly at night unless you are a commercial pilot and have a waiver for night flying from the FAA.

What should DJI do for the P5?

Octocopter. This would give it more stability in higher winds.

Intermittent HDMI output from Phantoms 3 & 4

I am having the same problem with both the controllers for the Phantom 3 Pro and my Phantom 4. Both controllers have been updated with the HDMI board. I can use both successfully with my HeadPlay goggles in HDMI mode (using the cable) with simultaneous display on both the tablet and the...

    Litchi

With the Phantom 3 or 4, the only way to separate the video is by adding the HDMI video port ($100) from DJI. This replaces the USB connector on the back of the controller with both a USB and a HDMI connectors. On the controller, you set for simultaneous display, and you have output on both...
