Youtube is your friend on this topic. Last time i tried to fly in Florida I coulndt fly ANYWHERE along the panhandle due to stupid NFZ even though it wasnt even NEAR the NFZ map areas. Now I can fly ANYWHERE I want!
Does the reality that you can get 8 "satellite" signals inside your house without a clear view of the sky set off any alarm bells and get you thinking...lol?
If it were me I would hover it a few inches over some thick grass until I reached around 20% or so and then recharge. Do this a few times and see if it evens out. Running a Lipo down to 0% will destroy it.
I think he meant GPS on the P4P so once you find it you can mark where it is in case you dont have enough battery left to let it hover while you run to it.
I would NOT update EVER if it is flying fine like it is. You are only asking for trouble if you do. In fact I was fortunate enough to be able to roll back my P4P to a version before DJI could get their grubby hands on it and take control of it grounding me at THEIR will.
I'd be willing to bet that there is nothing you can do to unlock the area. DJI NFZ's have become ridiculous! Only option you probably has is to do a google search on how to roll back your firmware to 1.04.509 so you can get in there and edit the parameters and get DJI's grubby paws off of YOUR...
I dont think you will find a way to roll back the RC. I had same issue when I rolled back to 0509 and rolled back DJI Go as well to 4.0.8. There may be a hack out there as well for that but mine flys fine now with latest RC firmware. Just NEVER EVER EVER NEVER EVER update again now that you...
I will NOT apologize for calling out A-holes when I see them. This is supposed to be a forum for HELPING people and NOT making them feel like idiots for asking questions! If this is the kind of behavior you endorse or want on this forum then perhaps you should moderate or start a different...
{ MOD REMOVED }. This question could be asked at least once a month and still be relevant since technology changes at that fast of a pace. Or maybe you are still using a flip phone with Consumer Cellular...lol!
You can also try deoxit to clean out the motors. The stuff is MAGIC and it wont hurt the motors or the plastic!
