    Getting rid of drone

FWIW - I have gotten fine CS fro DJI. But then, I have realistic expectations.

First flight - very negative experience with person on the ground.

I think your making a big deal out of nothing. It sounds to me like you have an anger problem. Hard to imagine why you got furious over that. "It is important to take responsibility for your own feelings and behaviors."

I was at DJI and they told me not to update firmware!

    Yes that's what I meant

I was at DJI and they told me not to update firmware!

It doesn't make sense to give updates a bit of time and see what other people experience that's what I try to do

DJI new releases coming April 23rd, help me decide.

are you expecting FedEx to give you the exact minute it would be delivered? It sounds to me like you're the moron if you even think that's possible

    Crash P3s

Hey did you ever consider the possibility that a whole Lotta other things might've broke in the crash just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not broke

What is the range? People personal experiences.

In the US in the city with buildings around maybe 1500 feet

You must've worked in marketing because generation is a marketing term certainly not an engineering term I worked at IBM in the 80s and we only spoke of revisions Usually a generation refers to a whole new type of technology

New way to lose your drone

If you've been following the law and maintained VLOS you would've noticed your mistake immediately

Please learn from my mistakes (I lost my Drone)

How about follow the law instead of breaking it If you had maintained VLOS you would've known right where it was Sounds to me like you got your just desserts

are very small airports + helipads largely ignored?

Sorry posts got crossed - where is it stated that a phone call is the prefered (but not required?) method of contact? I mean I think you are just making things up, but I could be wrong.

are very small airports + helipads largely ignored?

Yes, but if I don't notify on the CTAF frequency, I "run the risk of missing notification to busy fields that operate with just CTAF." since you can be sure the operator of an airport without an ATC won't be doing that.

So you work for the FAA? I don't see where that is stated....

Oh, so now I am supposed to have a VHF transceiver, listen on the CTAF frequency and notify each approaching aircraft? You should not be flying in an area where this would make any sense.
