Spend your money on other things like additional batteries, gimbal guard ,whilst attaining proficiency as a drone pilot so 10 to 20 hours of flight time then you can get a range extender

In the US, you just have to notify them, "Hey, i'm flying my drone in this general area ,bye".

I use airmap, you might think there are no airports or helipads nearby but there are. I typically have to go into the boonies or unpopulated coastal areas to fly. I've yet to call a helipad to notify them, i will in the future though.

My standard goes about 1500ft think that's the app limitation that I need to change , I'd make sure there are no obstructions between you and the drone, electromagnetic or physical. There are apps for that.
