They have a good rep, i purchased my Inspire 1 from them but i had to go to the store, everything i have ordered online i've had to cancel as they had no stock. I recently purchased a DJI OSMO Mobile from them which i had to cancel as when i ordered i was told 2 weeks, then i was emailed 2 weeks...
Sure was, to be honest if she loves drones as much as you then you may have found a "Unicorn" keep her, my wife is not interested at all so buying anything is painful. Let's just say when i purchased my inspire 1 yesterday she was not entirely happy.
Justin,
Question, can you start a flight with the Phantom in the air, i tried to use the app and it was a little windy but was worried about the phantom drifting a bit, would feel better if i can start a flight when in the air hovering?
If you are looking at a android version try Litchi, Airnest is the first of it's type for IOS that is if you want to include the crappy waypoint biult into DJI Go app.
Just took at look at the app and first thing being from Australia, everything is imperial! Unless i'm missing something you'll need to add this in so we can do altitude in meters and speed in kilometers an hour.
I'm with you there about autopilot, i use Litchi and i'm fine with that but Autopilot just feels too complex to work out. I always have to refer back to the help file and even that doesn't really give you have to use the sliders etc. Just have to set and test for me and i'm quite computer savy.
Can't do it unless you record in 4K and transcode down to 2.7K, you'd think the pro would have all the recording features of the models below it, it is the "PRO" version.
I don't see a need for long distance unless you want to brag to be honest. As for height there is a reason for having limitations, in Australia civilian aircraft from fly anywhere from 500 ft above sea level, my place is already 50m above sea level. This restricts me to about 100m for my bird or...
I stand corrected then :) I haven't test the new version which obviously has this, i thin you have to allocate one of the underside programmable buttons on the controller to do this, you can setup assignments in the app.
No you can't but you can do it offline and save it and load it when the drone is in the air. If you sign up as a developer you can download the DJI simulator and hook your P3 to your PC and test your litchi flights. The simulator is not much to look at but it will allow you to see how the bird...
I asked the same question and have been informed that only flight logs from version 2.x are uploaded due to the extra data being in the log files. I had about 20 flights from previous version that did not upload so that is the reason why. All new flights will definitely be uploaded.
