No, the camera has it's own firmware and so does the ofdm module, vps, flight controller and so on. All independent modules have their own firmwares.

I'd say, do not update. The latest FW update screwed my video transmission. Now I'm back to FW 1.7.60 AC and 1.5.8 RC and my fpv video is flawless and range is more than I ever need. :)

I did flash the same FW using debug file but the plus didn't disappear. So, the theory doesn't work.

I bought mine for 47 USD from eBay. I'm still waiting it to arrive, so no status update yet :) Only thing that I'm worried about is that the module I bought is ODFM v2 receiver. I wonder if the v2 has less power than v1 ODFM?

My video reception went completely useless after the latest AC (1.10.09) and RC (1.8.0) firmware updates. You might first try to downgraade your RC firmware to 1.6 and see if it helps. If that doesn't help there is a way to downgrade the AC firmware back to 1.9.60 or older. (Be aware, there is...

You don't hide the file extension, you must delete it (by rennaming it and taking the extension away). The name of the debug file must be P3X_FW_DEBUG without extension, no hidden or visible.

Thanks! I was thinking just the same. I'll try tomorrow to upgrade to the 1.10.9 again, one fw version at a time and then start downgrading and hope that I get green led at some point.
