With my Phantom 3 I always dreaded the IMU calibration because I obsessed over finding a place away from metal and perfectly level. How level does it have to be? Is 1 degree off level sufficient?
I just now updated my new P4P and had same problem. It stuck at 90% updating the no-fly database. After about 20 minutes and reading this forum, I turned off everything, repowered and it seems to be OK.
I just updated my new P4P as forced to do. It came up with a message at 99% complete: 'Unplug and re-plug data cable to update status'. What I think they wanted to say was : Unplug data cable from quad, and replug into controller'. I did that and the status on my iPad said, Update Complete.
