I've been working on this idea the last 2 weeks and after almost 10 iterations, I think I have finally nailed it. Once you have screwed in the Mounting Adapter to the DBS long range antenna, you are now able to easily clip it on to the phone holder and remove it within seconds. This has worked...
Thanks LeoS. In that 1 hour, I took flights. Total flight time was probably less than 20 minutes.... and with some juice left to spare. I brought two batteries but was able to cover it all in 1 battery.
As this was my first time flying the quad over such a large expanse of water, I was very...
I had my first Phantom 2 flight in Singapore's Marina Bay area and managed to put together a short video to share with everyone.
Enjoy.

Finally got my Phantom 2 last week and started to set it up with my previous Phantom's FPV gear.
I'm still new to the whole FPV flying thing but it is a great relieve to know that I can now fly for 25 minutes without having to worry about battery life every 2 minutes like I did on my previous...

Not possible as the upgrade kit does not have a CAN-bus to connect the iOSD. This is a known setback. That is why mine is still using the stock Phantom board and then I add in Zenmuse -> iOSD ->PMU.
Re: New Phantom does not 'take-off' from ground at full thro
FINALLY!!!!
Special thanks to Driffill and everyone who contributed in helping. I successfully flew my quad last night and had one of the most liberating 15 minutes of flight (included a couple of crashes as this is my first time)...

Driffill:
I think I may have found the problem.
On my Mode 2 TX, I currently see the following linked up.
AIN1 = RIGHT STICK (from front, on left looking into the back of Tx) left-right movement ROLL
AIN2 = LEFT STICK, up-down...
