    I made the switch

I've been shooting medium and 1080/30 and enjoy the results. I've been experimenting shooting 1-frame every 5 and 10 seconds and find I like having more images to choose from much better with the 1 every 5 method.

    Easy video editing software???

Don't think there's such a thing as cheap and easy editing software and still be good. Personally I use the Adobe suite of editing software that includes Photoshop and Premier Pro. Don

    Boy killed by rc copter

Sorry for the loss of life however a 19-year old is not a boy; we have plenty of 18 and 19 year old in the military.

    GoPro 3 filter kit

I was looking for a filter kit for my GoPro 3 and found Sea Lantern http://www.sealantern.com/camera-lenses/25-lens-adapter-for-gopro-hero-3.html. Been exchanging emails and will be getting one shortly. I think they also make things for the earlier versions as well. Okay how the heck do you...

    Plug and play FPV options

I agree that Kumba Cam is excellant however I do have one gripe - they don't list any telephonr number to speak with a live person. I've got the FPV yesterday and am very satisfied next up will be the gimbal as soon as they offer the current one.

Warning to prop guard users! ESC + Motor replacement help

Re: Warning to prop guard users! ESC + Motor replacement hel Had the very same problem. In a total fit of stupidy I reused the same screws and ended up trashing the motors. Normally soldering isn't that big a deal - however on the Phantom it can be due to the extreme high temp solder used. I...

    Plug and play FPV options

Don't have a ton of experience as I just got it today. The install was as easy as what the video shows. Charged all the batteries and took it out for a 5-minute test flight. The monitor is large enough to show details and didn't feel overly awarkward connected to the transmitter. I need to...

    Kumba Cam FPV review

It has 3-RCA plugs, 2-audio in and 1-video in. There's no provision for video out that I can see also no card slot so it looks like it's just a monitor that you can either have wireless or plug into. I did just find the neat foldout stand attached to the back.

    Kumba Cam FPV review

Just a quick followup. Batteries charged, everything attached as it should and a 5-minute maiden flight which went off without any problems. The screen is huge the only negative I can see is a lack of a sun screen something I need to make.

    Kumba Cam FPV review

Just got mine. Charging the batteries got the monitor attached to the controller really don't think I'll need the remote (could of saved a couple dollars by not having the remote). Waiting for the batteries to turn green.

    Phantom tiping every start

I had a tipping problem when I first got mine. Turned out the props were installed upside down, turned them right side up and instant lift off.

Thanks for taking the time to do this. I just ordered mine yesterday and looking forward to using it. Great point regarding the screw mount - where'd you find yours? Don
