P2 with latest firmware on everything. Yes to anti-interference board.
My guess is your ribbon cable is not plugged all the way in as others have had the same problem where they get power but no FPV. Try inserting the ends a bit farther, my guess is the end on the H3-3D not the end on the goPro...
The H3-3D comes with a spare ribbon cable, if you still have the mini USB plug then you can just open up the gimbal and replace the ribbon cable very easily. Check out the video to go to a H3-2D goPro plug and that shows how to remove/replace the ribbon cable. You should be fine. For the no...
People are installing the GoPro connector from older H3-2D and H3-3D (V1) gimbals assuming they are replacing damaged ones. I installed the gopro connector from my old H3-2D gimbal today and it was very easy, basically plug and play and now the stupid ribbon cable and external plug is gone. So...
Re: H3-3d "twitch" in initialization process, and then drift
I got same update and results. Looks better to me however gimbal is now sitting ever so slightly tilted toward the pitch motor (right side about 1cm lower) and it just barely effects the horizon. Tried calibrations with no resolve...
I am outside the DJI red zone in the yellow zone. Unfortunately all of Boston is a yellow zone. If I was right next to the airport I wouldn't be flying. I am several miles away.
50 foot limit is excessive. 400 I can understand. I'm all for regulations but the entire city of Boston is on a height lockdown, it's ridiculous. Common sense will prevail for me, not senseless restrictions. I have hundreds of hours flying with crafts since the P1, I can understand some people...
what's the downside of flying in Manual vs. ATTI mode?
Tin foil hat is working but I have manual mode setup anyway so I do think it would be a little better then GPS mode with no GPS or ATTI with a tin hat.
I have recently discovered that my house is about 1000 yards outside the red no fly zone surrounding the Boston airport but definitely very much in the yellow no fly zone. Therefore I get a altitude limit of about 50 feet which is ridiculous. I understand safety and the idea behind the...
It was the airport. The city of Boston is basically one big NO FLY zone. Had to make a tinfoil hat to block the GPS and all is resolved, no 50 ft. altitude limit at my house anymore (just outside the red zone but inside the yellow zone.)
Good call. Does anyone have a way to disable the GPS...
