The photos remain in the USA the entire time you can upload them to the computer and do with them what you want still. But they do want them sent to them the way you took them not after you process them. Just download the app and see how many jobs are in your area there were 20 just in my...
Have you heard of drone base yet? They give you local jobs to fly with the map inside their phone app. The minimum price you are supposed to get paid is $50 try it if you haven't.
With the fact you say you're flying over private property I'll tell you my bit of advice. I do aerial photography for realtors and when I do my photos I alert the neighbors of the house I'm shooting of what I'm doing so they don't feel like I'm going to invade their privacy and cause trouble...

The max altitude that is set is AGL height. There are no settings for MSL. If you're flying in mountains you are fine as long as the distance from the ground to your drone does not exceed 400' but be warned that plane's flying over mountains might not change their altitude so keep your eyes and...
You're right about that not being illegal. What I was saying is that it would be illegal to fly at that height and it's useful to have it set to the maximum height limit proposed by whoever controls the airspace whenever you are and for me the lateral limit would be 400 feet agl.
So all I said...
