What sort of times do you get with the 8000 on your 550? I'm trying to figure out which battery route to go with mine.

Thanks for the replies. I have the glb gimbal now and am having problems with it staying balanced. Mid-flight it decides to tilt the camera and then balance from there. Always tilted. With the glb I'm afraid "you get what you pay for".

That's the guy he was with that was trying to catch it IMO.

If under 60ft it flies up to 60 ft, turns to head towards home, flies home at 60ft. hovers for a bit, then straight down. +/- 10 ft. radius (about). If you're above 60 ft. when you go into RTH, same as above but it stays at current altitude until it's above the landing position.

I had the same thing happen with less than 20 flights done. 1st to the red then to the black. I used liquid elec tape then covered in regular elec tape. Happened too easily IMO. Next time I have the cover off I'll probably replace the whole set of wires. I like the sugru idea for my f550.

There's a setting for this right? Mine is set for "intelligent control" or something like that and as long as the thing is moving in space I can have the throttle at 0% and it doesn't turn off.

Loved the video. Made me laugh though. With the music it's a gentle and flowing look at nature, with the audio from the copter it would have sounded like angry bumble bees chasing kangaroos. Sorry, couldn't resist. :D

No, not with a gimbal. The only add-ons I have on currently are the tiny FPV fatshark camera, 250mw transmitter/antenna and a carbon fiber piece that holds the transmitter outboard in back. Otherwise completely stock and bare.
