Michael, Unfortunately these setting you mentioned can't really improve the sharpness of the pictures. I think the lens quality and the engine (software) are not there yet. But for 4K video is fine since we're watching it from the 4K TV, which has Max 8 mpixel. Here is the 4K video, but...

After looking at all of these pictures plus my own from my P3P, I can confirm they are on the soft side, I always have to sharpen a bit with the software.
