What the hell am I doing wrong?

I am trying to orbit a fixed point. If I aim the Phantom 2 at say a house, fly sideways then yaw to keep the house in the centre of the screen, the orbit seems to suddenly increase in diameter and go haywire. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

    Hero3+ tilt / mounting question

I have a gyroscopically stabilized mounting that sets itself to the horizontal. There are no external screw devices (I can see). The back of the camera fits on to a rear plate and does not allow for say some packing at the top rear of the camera to tilt it down and leaving the rear plate in the...

    Hero3+ tilt / mounting question

I have a Phantom 2 with a Hero3+ camera that does not have a tilt function. I don't have a workshop, just the basic screwdrivers etc. At the moment the camera is set to the horizontal - 50% ground & 50% sky. How do I get the camera to constantly point say 15 degrees down so I get say 70% ground...

    Prop Balancing !

The point I tried to make previously is that if the blades are uneven in weight, they are also uneven in the amount of lift each blade produces. By removing material from one blade may or may not fix the asymmetric lift problem. Uneven / asymmetric lift could easily have a greater detrimental...

Help needed. Thanks in advance ...

Talking with a local re. retail outlets etc. would be better. Chatting with an owner as opposed to a sales person would be better too. Seeing something live and not on YouTube might be better too. I'm in Melbourne, Australia. I've found a couple of Phantom user names on flytrex.com and then...

    Prop Balancing !

The second aspect in prop. balancing is the amount of lift each blade produces. Asymmetrical lift could easily cause more vibration than the weight difference of each blade. Rigging helicopter blades in the days before the synchronised strobe, a taut piece of canvass was stretched between the...

Help needed. Thanks in advance ...

Before buying a Phantom, I thought I'd chat with a few nearby owners re. retailers etc. I can't message them as I've not contributed. I can't contribute until I've something to contribute. I can't even message Adam the moderator. Can I please have dispensation to message nearby Phantomites...
