It really is quite simple:
How much pleasure, enjoyment would you get from owning and flying a Phantom 3?
Weigh that up against the cost and pleasure you may receive from any other 'Hobbies' you have.......
Then, to help put in place a sense of 'security' in your investment....Buy insurance...
I agree with F6Rider, especially after flying my P3 in Bahrain in temps of 36*C (102*F) and it gets hotter out there......a lot hotter!!
I replaced the original 'wobbly' plastic item for the metal Inspire 1 and had no problems at all,.....including, flying the P3 in the heat!
