    HD Downlink is Disrupted,

4 things are needed here before anybody can even begin troubleshooting: 1) A much, much better description of your symptoms. 2) Photos of the damage. 3) What you have tried to rectify the problem. 4) Exact model. "Phantom 4" has a couple different flavors. Bonus points for video of the entire...

    newbie with phantom 4 problems

This is very confusing. Takers for what? I see below that someone discovered that you posted another thread. To avoid confusion you should at least link to that thread in the OP. D

The ol' P4P still making money...

The cost isn't that much. It's the time and effort that is expensive. The installation process is complex and multifaceted. There's no way to keep it simple. Each roll back is a hack. Both Apple and DJI leave no exit strategy for their updates. The easiest way would be to purchase legacy...

The ol' P4P still making money...

That's good to know. It would make zero sense that licensed pilots would have to take a UAV test. It could see it if there were a practical test, but a written test??? Hell...it's pretty clear to me that pilots wrote the 107 test. D

The ol' P4P still making money...

It's hard to believe that your commercial license doesn't automatically qualify you for a UAV license. The 107 is a purely written test with no practical skills test. So any housewife with zero stick time can get the 107 if she studies for it. So there's no logical reason why you shouldn't...

The ol' P4P still making money...

Hey doods! Quite a while ago I moved up to an M300 for mapping and LiDAR, but occasionally a Traffic Analysis gig comes up, which is essentially just 2-minute aerial videos of traffic patterns every 15 minutes for roughly 3 hours (12 flights total). For these gigs the P4P still does a great...

    P4p aftermarket batteries 2026

I agree with the sentiment that batteries are the worst place to try to save money. That said, I'm not even sure if OEM Phantom batteries are still available. I imagine they are. If you can find them, I would go with those. D

this is a video made by myself

I agree with @Heron. The AI narration is a real turn off. So far this year I have clicked out of about a dozen YouTube videos (usually within 5 seconds) because of the AI voiceover. Not only does it sound horrible, but as @Heron pointed out, it often mispronounces words. IMHO, it's a lazy...

Drone blocked and with flight restrictions.

Ahhhh....I misunderstood. I thought that you were successful in rolling back the firmware, but that the rolled-back firmware didn't work. That seems like a good next strategy to try. D

As Height Changes From Cliff to Valley

Everyone is correct so far regarding manual flight. But if you program waypoints, make sure your software doesn't download SRTM data (AKA; "terrain follow'). Some software will reveal a terrain profile before flight. But some doesn't. I'm not sure if any of the DJI offerings offer this...
