I did it once, but whichever way you do it the important bit is to do it well out in the open and away from anything that could influence the compass.
If the phantom flies in a straight line and hovers ok, then there really is no need to keep on calibrating, in my humble opinion....
OK I will try and answer your questions.
Yellow battery bar - I don't think you can change it, it is dynamic in that it monitors your flight time and power usage and gives you an estimated remaining flight time to return to the home point safely. I really don't understand why you would want to...
Binding is for the range extender to the vision camera only, you do not need to do this from new.
The phone should just connect to the phantom wifi and that's it, you do not need to do anything else.
I think you will have to read the manual again and re-bind the range extender to the camera...
From my understanding of the rules, CAA permission lasts for 12 months and covers the "pilot", so once you have it you only need to renew it every year.
After that you can do what you like within reason, as you have proved to the CAA that you are a capable pilot and understand risk assessment.

Maybe try reading the release notes, it mentions trouble with the MAC operating system.

How many does it show in the app?
If 0 then you have a GPS module fault or its not plugged in correctly.

Re: What music do you prefer in your headphones while flying
