When you try this, start by flying close to the ground. I read a story recently of a chap who was flying over a river when someone else next to him turned on their phantom transmitter and the phantom flying dropped out of the sky like a rock into the river, never to be seen again.

Don't go to 3.04 if you don't have to. I was flying the other day in a not very big breeze and GPS didn't have the tilt (balls) to come back upwind. Flew back in ATTI mode. Honestly it is soooooo slow!!! Feck DJI

This can also be solved by turning on the battery while charging it - it will re-engage even if battery is at 4 bars. Sounds completely wrong but if you read the fine print on the P2 battery - it says it can be charged while the intelligent battery is either on or off

DON'T UPGRADE!!! My P2 is reallly slow in GPS mode and also ATTI has gotten slower. It is totally uncool of DJI to put that tilt restriction in the lastest firmware. I hope they revert back in the next and I hope they hurry the feck up to fix the compass issue!!! -H
