I really don't like letting video of a beautiful island sit on my hard drive. So during this cold snap here in Texas, I strung together a bunch of aerial shots of the gorgeous island of Bora Bora. The last few shots have no color correction, the sunsets there are just that beautiful!
Spent some more time wake boarding this summer and doing some filming. Still my favorite place to fly is off the boat. There's a bunch of DJI Phantom 4 use in this video so I figured I would share!
That was a good idea! Cause I got it back!! Managed to get in touch with a guy who runs a tree service in DFW and he just happened to be passing through Austin last weekend! He got it back in no time. Still works too after being up in a tree for a month!
Shot this about a year ago and figured I would share it with you guys. Flying from the boat is a little nerve wracking at first but it's now one of my favorite places to fly from!
Spent a week in Bora Bora a couple of months ago and of course took the Phantom 4. Managed to get some amazing shots which are interspersed in this video. Hope you guys enjoy!
Managed to crash my Phantom 4 into a tree up near some cliffs on the north end of Lake Travis about 2 weeks ago. I'm hoping that it falls out eventually since it's about 60 feet off the ground. Most likely won't survive the fall but would love to have the footage back.
My FAA number is on the...
The electronics seem to be holding up pretty nicely so far. Nothing weird or out of the ordinary. It runs just like it is supposed to. I have been playing with the NAZA settings and there is an actual setting in the app for a 4S battery which I tried out yesterday. My flight time was shortened...
I did the conversion a long time ago, but I think i just used the original screws. I may have had to drill new holes for the LED but I'm pretty sure I used the original screws from the Phantom 1 for the frosted dome.
No it's definitely not good. But I wanted to see exactly how long the battery will last. I plan on getting another one once I figure out how long I can safely fly this big of a battery without problems since I fly over water a lot. I would rather ruin a battery than lose the Phantom in the drink.
Just finished this video today even though I filmed it in November 2015. Figured out that a Turnigy Multistar 6600 mAh 14.8 V 10 C battery fits perfectly in the battery bay of a Phantom 2 shell. The rest of the components of my Phantom are that of a Phantom 1.1.1 with 9450 props. This battery...
I know what you are saying. I accidentally bought this battery 9 months ago when I thought it was a 3S. I've never flown it until this video. I was hesitant about it but after three flights so far all of which have lasted about 17 to 18 minutes I'm feeling more confident and actually interested...
Had about three flights so far to test out my max flight times and no problems yet. Plan on doing some filming over water soon do hoping that I don't discover a problem then! Thanks for the vote of confidence!
