LOL! I did it too several times on different electronic gadgets (like my gopro) and I even start getting angry when they don't turn on until I remember that they are not the bird.
Hey Driffill, nice finding! It looks like you're right since the power cable end has a 3 pin layout but only the top and middle one are actually wired (red/positive at the middle and black/negative on top).
So, are you sure I won't burn my gopro if I power it through the F1 port?

I have two phantoms 2v+ and I have the exact same problem on both quads after the firmware upgrade. I've tried reducing the gains like RCblog.nl but had no luck, it still dances in the air like an old washer machine.
