    Getting your license

But if anybody here is a manned airmen, they’d be exempt from this anyway. Only if you are current within last two years

FAA Drone Sighting Data is UNRELIABLE. Here's what the FAA said......

As an airline pilot for 18 years, ATC would point out aircraft at 5 miles and it was difficult to detect. How in the world could anyone detect a drone?

I was just checked by a small aircraft!

My response was meant to be “tongue in cheek”. Your knowledge was “spot on”

I was just checked by a small aircraft!

More dangerous than you realize. A “heavy” jet with flaps, slats extended is still traveling over 100 knots faster than a phantom

MaxxUAV.com Finally getting Dual Band Antennas!

Has anyone here NOT crashed a drone?

I have been a (manned) pilot for 46 years and no accidents, but I was IN the aircraft, actually manipulating controls and had a much better visual sense of my surroundings. In RC, many people with with no experiece, are self taught. Not so in commercial or military aviation

Has anyone here NOT crashed a drone?

I can tell, you have not been flying long. Although they are very reliable and idiot proof, the "smartest" people crash.
