How do you use it? I got Litichi working but when I plug the usb from the RC to the Gear VR, it won't connect. I believe the USB in the Gear VR is for power only and won't transfer data. How did you get around this?
I was thinking about flying from a high point on the roadside down into the river valley and over the water but decided against it. I wasn't sure what happened with you fly below your starting elevation and home point elevation. I guess it works fine?
I'm actually not sure about the warranty. I'll have to look into that. But there is a 30 return policy. So I plan to get everything updated and take it easy to make sure it's operating properly. I'm a fairly experienced pilot so I'm confident I'll be able to tell if something is wrong with it.
This is a pretty interesting Phantom. It sounds like it's basically trading the Lightbridge system for $200-$300. It will make some pause when they consider whether they really need Lightbridge In the P3P. For that money you could get a spare battery and case...

My only advice is to go to city council meetings and offer your opinion if they try to pass something similar. I'll let others comment on whether these local jurisdictions even have authority to do this
Welcome to the club! I was similar to you on my first flight except I pulled the left stick down thinking it go backward but it went DOWN. Those winds are pretty high. I would be worried too. Wait for some lighter winds and just take it easy to start with. Just make sure your getting a good GPS...
I just got my GoPro case for the Phantom 2 and my 8" ReadyMadeRC monitor doesn't quite fit. Has anybody modified this case yet? I'm holding off for now because its a nice case and I don't want to hack it up.
This is the case http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/control ... details&Q=
I've been searching around and can't seem to find a fix. My horizon is tilted so the left side is slightly lower. It's pretty minor and has been present in several of my videos, although I just noticed it tonight. I've found several other people complaining of the same thing although I haven't...
