Haven't flown for awhile won't let me fly higher than 98 feet keeps telling me maximum altitude reached

All seem to be a couple of weeks old, just trying to see more recent updates, when I upgraded to 1.7.9 had to send it to DJI burned some PC board up, this is all new to me just don't want any more problems

I currently have 1.7.90 had to send it back now it works not as good as previous version ,1.8.10 is now out should I update. Haven't heard much about this version? Any suggestions would be great.

Never had a problem with video, had a problem with firmware update had to send back to dji they did update now I get video lag like 30 seconds but if I shut my phone down and restart it works for a while but next thing I know it starts lagging again not sure what to think I'm New at this any...
