    but now the guards are too tight and won't attach. Oh well, guess i will order a new set.

    Finally got them off by using something "solid" against the the bottom and slightly tapping it with an other solid item. thanks for replys

    for some reason i can't pop out the the four plastic stoppers. any ideas?
