Yes I updated everything once this started happening, DJI Go App version 4.0.5, Android version 7.1.1, Aircraft Firmware and controller.
I can start DJI Go 4 just fine but as soon as the aircraft boots up and tries to connect the screen (see below) come up that says "Current DJI Device...
I cannot believe I am the only one having this issue that started last week, March 13. I had not installed any updates to RC, aircraft or devices, I went to launch my craft and it seems to think my P4 is suddenly a P3 and tries to force me to install the pre P4 app from the playstore, I can't...
Yeah I did that I ran the search crew a Google Earth session to the last known location, also I had flown the route the day before so I showed them actual video opf the exact area. But alas, they could not locate the bird, its just a thick forest and dense undergrowth. But maybe I can get...
Search party found came up empty handed. It is a thicket up there on the side of that mountain. Maybe I can try and locate with another drone if I can launch closer to the last know location. I;ve attached a photo from near the last known location taken by the search crew.
Yeah I have the last known long lat and the search party has the address and google maps should guide them to the spot, but it is a very steep rugged forest, and I am old and have bad knees so the youngsters will be doing the hiking! The last know long lat was 39.204472, -107.218054
The search party was offered $100 reward and cold beer! Just had a support call with DJI and this time the guy said, the craft will only move to the RTH height if its BELOW the set RTH height and not descend if the carft is above the RTH height, which makes sense to be but still doesn't explain...
Thanks for the feedback. That's what I've been told by everyone except DJI support, who told me it will go down to RTH altitude, which makes no sense to me what so ever. One dealer told me he know for sure that the P3's do not lower to return to home altitude but he wasn;t sue of the P4s? Time...
I lost my drone yesterday due to a lost connection so I am now trying to better understand the Return To Home sequence and specifically whether or not the altitude is adjusted once a RTH is initiated. I have been told that it will NOT descend to the RTH altitude set in the app and others say it...
Thanks, do you have the issue of when turning the legs of the P2 become visible for a second, something about the new axis movement allowing the camera to "aim" at the leg briefly when turning?
Will the H3-3D work with Firmware 1.08 or will I be required to upgrade to a higher version of firmware?
Am hestitant to upgrade firmware for many reasons, basically the P2 flys perfectly now.
Mode 2 is the standard mode with the throttle on the left stick. You can hover over the Mode label in RC software and it will show you what each Mode settings look for both Mode 1 and Mode 2.
I started this thread and have noted that I NO longer have any issues and am running 3.06, the last thing I did before resolution seemed to be rebinding the RC controller to the P2.
I'm really not sure if this was the solution but I noticed my binding light (showing that the P2 is bound to the controller) never went to green, just Red to nothing, so I decided to try rebinding, still no green light but when I tried a test flight the P2 flew fine. I am going to do some more...
