So far I have done the repeater mod with a 14dbi tplink and I get fantastic video. I've only flown about 1500ft distance, but for me that's pretty ballsy. Yesterday I did the TX upgrade with a 9dbi whip.... Less then stellar results. In fact, my first "return to home", which freaked me out...

I tried out the same rig everyone else here has touted. Pretty good results. I didnt push it too far. I stopped around 1100ft + about 300ft Altitude, So I suppose I was around 1400ft. Image below I took a minute before heading back. Lots of fun...

Agreed. That's the same information I'm seeing. Speculation is the price. I'm hearing around $1200, but that's in no way confirmed.

Not at all. It's kind of early to say what it will do, but those are all good observations. I suppose once it's officially released in a few weeks we'll see for sure!
