    Stay away from the Parrot Disco if you are thinking about buying it.

    I have owned a Parrot Disco for almost a year now. Never flew a fixed wing before but built and flew several quadcopters and a hexcopter. I found the Disco easy to fly and have not had any problems with it. It has tured out to be much more reliable than my multicopters.

    I don't know what caused your aircraft to shut down midflight, but I have had no such problem. I recently bought one for $400 and have flown it a dozen times and it has worked as advertised, except that that connection range is not as long as I expected - I lost connection at around 3500 ft...

    Parrot Disco Summer Price Drop

    So, I'm a little late to this, but I bought a Disco for $400 and I love flying it!. You will easily fly this aircraft even if you have never flown a fixed wing before.
