I surely don't suggest this but what I ended up doing was fitting a small standard screwdriver tip between the battery and the body of the drone. A little twist and it was out. Did this out of frustration.
I totally get the height restriction also however as a photographer of automobile events, weddings and other special events it's quite frustrating. I would completely understand a 50' altitude limit or some other predetermined safeguard if within 5 miles of an airport. Very frustrating if all...
Skynet beat me to the punch, satellites are flying overhead everyday and they're recording the same images that would be seen by a drone. I live in the states and typically send my P4 up twice daily to record sunrises and sunsets. If people think that they're so interesting that I'm concerned...
Yes very frustrating. I do a lot of auto photography and in many cases only need it to go about 30' in the air over a parking lot to grab some images. I can launch but then gets black warning box on the screen so I can't see what I'm doing.
Like many I'm still trying to find a way to clear the Safety Warning Hold Harmless/Acknowledgement that pops up on the screen when the user is deemed to be in a restricted area. I do auto photography professionally and am not putting anyone at risk in that I'm only interested in doing a Point...

I know this is an old thread, don't know if you'll see this. I do some semi pro photography in my area. I was shooting jeeps on the beach near the Ritz Carlton which are much higher than I intended to fly. Was going to go up about 20' for some perspective shots of the vehicles as well as a...
