Here is a mod I did to my newly arrived headplays, I now have an on & off switch for the 5.8 receiver and I am also able to turn off the headplays without disconnecting the battery. I am also running a 3cell 11.1 lipo....And I've also included a cooling fan for fogging issues.

But I can't not stress it enough....those wack amps you get with the FPVLR antenna are no good and the battery is even worse! The antenna is no joke tho, That's why I went with the maxxuav amp and battery setup in conjunction with the FPVLR antenna that battery that comes with the FPVLR setup...
The range is dramatically increased but do to the enormous amounts of wires and cables all over the place I am still not able to reach the "miles" I would like. But.....I am able to do over a mile in my area, witch I could not do out the box with my P4.....sorry for taking soooo long to respond...
Oh and might I add that the battery kicks out 2Amps per USB witch is required to run those sunhas amps. And the sticks were custom made from PlayStation 4 thumb sticks!

Here's my long range setup..... The antenna is from FPVLR and the boosted kit is from MAXXUAV. Those amps are no joke, Neither is that battery from Anker...13400mah!

Lol....do any of you guys own a drone....Why the rush on getting first? You'd be probably better off waiting for it to arrive at stores. And then if something goes wrong you can return it!.....see that's smart! xD

Sim is a good training tool, but try out a cheap inexpensive drone to give you a better feel of what it's like.

LOL....that's retarded! Might as well use the iPad as the controller! You want a big screen....get an iPhone 6 Plus or don't buy the mavic. Its about portability gentlemen....ya gonna gonna carry an iPad mini in your back pocket?
I DEFINITELY AGREE WITH OVYYUS! YOU MUST LEARN WHAT THE TACTILE FEELING IS LIKE! YOU WILL CRASH THIS MAVIC IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH FLYING ALREADY. YES IT IS AND WILL BE A CONFIDENCE BUILDER, BUT BARE IN MIND THAT IT IS YOUR FIRST BIRD AND COST $1000 PLUS TAXES. A HUBSAN X4 IS THE WAY TO GO...
I would definitely wait till it comes out at stores! What if something is defective or doesn't work as promised? Then you gotta ship it back and wait for a reship. Screw that ---t!
