Mechanical shutter only works when taking photos. It doesn’t have any effect for video recording as that will still use digital shutter.

To explain it simply, mechanical shutter will prevent what is called the “rolling shutter” effect when you are taking picture of a very fast moving...
I usually stick to 4K30 or 4K60 depends on needs. I didn’t use the 24/48 variant as most of my playback is on device or computer with 60hz refresh rate. And 30/60 divides evenly on these displays without stutter
Connect controller to phone, launch DJI GO 4. On the main screen, tap and hold the hamburger menu (top right, three lines) for 10 seconds and release. You’ll get the RC downgrade option
I’m not sure if it’s me but it seems to like to jump to 2.4ghz more now compared to before. Before the update, it will mostly sticks with 5.8ghz most of the time
You just have to sign in the app once time at least after the update. Then you can just fly anywhere without connection. I flew with the latest update both with DJI GO 4 and Litchi using my iPad mini (non cellular and no WiFi connection) without issues on this new firmware.
