I have only flown once with the shielding about 200 feet up, maybe 100 feet out and I did not see any difference in the FPV video except that before the mod it would drop out on me and now it doesn't!

I thought I read somewhere in these forums that this is not possible. When a 2nd device connects to the extender it will drop the signal from the 1st device. Maybe someone else will confirm this.

From what I read in the manual, that is what suppose to happen unless you abort the mission or it goes into fail safe mode. I haven't had the chance to try GS yet.
