After swapping out the battery and updating the firmware I went for a test flight this morning and at 30% battery the P2 was holding steady. I will do another flight with the original battery to see if I can isolate the cause. But at least I don't have to worry about a premature landing for now.
I typically bring my P2 in to land at around 30% of battery remaining just to be safe. The other day it started to lose vertical lift at around 35% just as I was bringing it in to land. Today it happened at 42%. The actual flight time was just over ten minutes with moderate flying. I have a go...
Aside from different wall plugs, does DJI ship just a single version of the battery charger to all international markets?
I'll be heading to Australia (where I am from originally) for a visit in December and I was thinking of taking the P2, but I wanted to make sure I'd be able to charge it...
I was born in Canberra and spent my early childhood there so I was able to identify just about every landmark. I've been living in Seattle for 16 years now, but your video brought back a lot of memories.
Based on the water and the stable video, it looks like you had a super calm day.
Nice...
Our 3D printer was offline for a while, but is operational now. White filament was already loaded so I just used that, then painted the model with dark gray primer. I should probably sand the edges too. Fits perfectly.
It feels like we are living in a world of ever-shrinking options when it comes to flying Phantoms and capturing video. National parks? Nope. Urban areas? Too dangerous. Public events? Nope. Historic sites? Uh-uh. What about your suburban neighborhood? Forget it.
But what if you had free reign...
I didn't know that.
Here's a list of movies filmed around Lake Powell. I didn't realize that the Outlaw Josey Wales had scenes filmed around there.

1962 ~ Greatest Story Ever Told
1967 ~ McKennas Gold
1967 ~ Planet of the Apes
1967 ~ Bandolero
1969 ~ Again a Love Story...
Here is a shot I took, and that scene from the original Planet of the Apes which was actually filmed in Lake Powell:
I believe the final scene from the movie Gravity was also filmed there.
The star photos were shot using a DSLR on a tripod, with a 30 second exposure.
Premiere Pro. Fast workflow, lots of control and a ton of presets for output. I shoot mostly in 2.7k and PP offers a lot of control over cropping so you can take props out of your shot.
We visited Lake Powell in June and I brought the Phantom along. It is such a spectacular landscape...although you have to get comfortable flying over water in order to capture it. :)

I hope you enjoy it.
First edited video? That's pretty impressive.
I really enjoyed it. I liked the diversity of shots, angles, motion and locations which kept me interested throughout. I really liked some of the shots amongst the trees with the kids. Good stuff!
Some things you might want to consider to make it...
Since my test flight I have flown another couple of times and no sign of the error returning. Sorry to hear you are having the same problem.
All I can recommend is that you go through the same steps in the hope that it also works for you. Try this, in this order;
Make sure you are running the...
