Thanks for the link to the forum discussion about the Phantom FC40 camera for the original Phantom. That may very well be the closest we'll come to an true DJI FPV "upgrade" for the Phantom I. Seems that for now, my dream of cheap FPV is on hold.

I can't describe how frustrating it was that the price dropped right after I bought it and THEN they revealed the new Phantom II with POV and iPhone integration. I was really hoping they would have an upgrade kit but perhaps that is too optimistic.

When (if at all) will a Phantom Vision upgrade kit be available for Phantom I owners? (If this was discussed in a recent thread -- could someone kindly point me towards it, thanks!)

It's possible that there isn't a single cause of "flyaways" and the fact that they seem more common with Phantoms could simply be due to the large number of Phantom owners when compared to the DIY quadcopter user base. With that said, I almost lost my Phantom during a flight on a windy day. I...
