Yes try using a lower resolution preview. Some have downgraded their firmware and vision app with good results apparently. Thanks for the information. I currently had a preview rate of 640x480 @ 30fps. I'm switching to 320x240 @ 30fps. I'll be out tomorrow so I will report back how it went...

So I would suggest a decent circular one , and if your working with a vision get the black sticker to go around the lens to stop sun flare. Black sticker? Do you mean a cone that screws onto the lens holder?

Should anyone need it, here are photos for the PV2 completely stock with and without a polarizer. I used a linear polarizer. Without With Polarizer attached With polarizer fully adjusted. Guess I'm gonna need longer arms to turn the darn thing :D
