I didn't explain myself correctly, the issue I was encountering was about a 5.8 gHz disruptions that were leading to the bird's return to home. I didn't brick the remote since I used notepad++ without changing any permission. The hack worked for both drone and remote but my issue was still here...

Still waiting for the return of my bird and its remote. I've sent them for investigation about the loss of signal to a local drone shop. I'll try to access the remote through serial way once they're back.
I think the booster is an excellent choice since we see many users improve their signal with it. Sunhans seem to be the most popular boosters in drone community but I've never used such devices and can not tell what they're worth.

As SingLag said "If editing the text file at windows, pls use notepad++ (Linux text file is 7bit, and windows is 8bit) when uploading file via ftp, pls use acsii mode"
We need to have this reminded somewhere constantly in order to avoid more bricked remotes.
