My connectors are similar to this, but have a tethered cap on each connector to cover the terminals when not in use.
Difficult to connect with the polarity reversed.
I have been using one routinely for 3 months. It's well made and does the job very well. Using it alongside the standard DJI charger means I can be ready to fly on all 4 batteries in just over an hour.
The only downside is that the cooling fan is a bit noisy
I agree with your comments about GO and that something has changed. But it's hard to see what.
My 'phone & tablet are both on GO 2.4.0, the tablet is on the current (?) version of Google Maps 9.19.1 but the version on the 'phone is ancient - 9.9.0. Both used to work well with the Google Maps...
I have the same issue as wbynum. The map is cached OK in Google Maps but DJI GO will now not load the cached map. I can browse the map with Google Maps when my Samsung Tab S 8.4 is offline, so I know that the map s definitely cached on the device.

Thanks, but an expired cached map is not the problem I'm having.
The map is cached and I can scroll and zoom the map in Google Maps when the device is offline but the cached map is not loading in GO.

After months of working perfectly DJI Go (I'm on 2.4.1) is suddenly not accessing maps cached in Google Maps on either of my devices......

I have these from the bay of fleas.
The gimbal guard is OK. A plus is that it makes the whole leg assembly more rigid when you hand catch.
