Have you been to the Multicopter Warehouse in Castle Rock and talked to the folks that work there. They seem to have lots of ideas, knowledge and contacts in the area regarding all kinds of drone activity in the area. Good folks.
Nice! Good to see you're getting out there. I was doing some flights over a rocky stream this week and thought I was going to have some great footage, but then found out afterwards that I'd forgotten to put my microSD card back in. Aaaargh!
Just did my first experimental run with $15 vr goggles (from Ross store) and $25 Litchi app. This will suit me fine for a long time. Actually had decent clarity. As it tells you on the app though, if using a Samsung S5, can't have both DJI Go and Litchi installed on your phone for Litchi to work.
So, I bought a regular pair of VR goggles at a Ross store for $15. Is it that others are telling you its OK to use basic VR goggles as long as you use the Litchi app? Just trying to clear this up from all the information in the threads.
I see where someone says flying from the parking lot south of the Haley Davidson store gives good line of sight. How about there. Not sure where the power plant is.
