Ive had the dji app crash mid flight too. Takes a few minutes to restart. Although it feels like squeeky bum time I think it helps being able to fly racing quadcopters in these sort of situations as i feel less panicked and know i am able to fly it manually
Thats helpful P3$E thanks. I will be using my DSLR as well and im all good with using that to take pucs of the moon.
I have no expectations of getting detail of the moon with the phantom cam as i cant even get detail of stuff in the day with it. My aim is get something similar to what Jake deer...
Thats fantastic. Just what i was asking about. What settings did you use?
My DSLR is all set but im not sure the best settings to use on the phantom camera.
Would bracketing some shots and using hdr post processing help?
Thanks for insinuating that i am a novice. If you read what i wrote at the top i said i am well aware that the camera is wide angle and that the moon will be small. However, as the moon light will be up to 30% brighter than normal. I was after 'tips' around shooting the 'scenery' as i have not...

The mini is about a bit of fun. Flying race quads has...

Eachine E013 Micro FPV RC Drone Quadcopter With 5.8G 1000TVL 40CH Camera VR006 VR-006 3 Inch Goggles
Alternatively you could...
I was going to take my dslr and tripod along for some proper shots. I think the p3pro settings will be tricky as shots in daytime arn't fantastic with the 12mp camera. But im figuring that if i can fly it out over some water near the docks i might be able to get something.
I suppose i was...
There is due to be a Supermoon on Sunday. Does anyone one have any top tips for getting some good shots.
Im using a phantom 3 Pro in the uk (so will probably be cloudy anyway).
I am aware that the lens is quite wide angle so the moon may appear not as big as i might hope so it maybe as much a...
I get alot of my racing quad stuff from china so am familiar with some good websites. If you find a good cheep 10 inch tab that works with dji go (p3p) i would definiatly like to know about it. Fed up with not seeing much on my s7 edge
