Yes it was the circuit board behind the plate and I'm unsure if it became hot before. I haven't changed the ribbon cable recently but I tried flipping it anyway and got no different results.

Well went through the calibration and it hasn't changed at all even after power cycling. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Every time I do it it says that the MC is overheated but I didn't even use it today. Do you have any suggestions?
