I have only one flight with this set up and gained only a couple of min at best. I was running beholder gimbal with gp3+ ,stock 8 props. My guess is it's all about the weight. The extra 200 gram battery weight sucks the time enough to not really be worth it. I'm sure this has bee hashed out...

Look on eBay. I believe there are skins available for around $28 US to dress it up.

I would like to plug a cable into mini plug with this gimbal but gimbal motor is on same side. Can I mount upside down then swap image provided I can then plug in cable. In addition, can I get power from control board somehow to drive 5.8 transmitter or do I need smaller battery for that...
