How to link P3P to Litchi

Several people have expressed their methods re this issue - and it is an issue. Bos123 is correct but on my Samsung S2 and Nexus 7 I follow this procedure - start tablet, start P3P, start RC and let in initialise for a few seconds then start Litchi. Works for me!

How big is the need for a big screen

As 'Not a Speck of Cereal' said - "iPad Air 2 here, not just for the eyes not being what they used to be, but more screen real estate means more accurate finger placement for mission planning, etc.". I have the Air 2 and the Samsung S2 for that very same reason - particularly as I use Litchi and...

    Litchi App

I have both Litchi and Autopilot (OSX only) - Litchi is far easier to learn but both are excellent apps.

    Litchi or Autopilot

I've had both for a few weeks on a P3P and can confidently say that Litchi is the easiest to learn - as others have said, it has more options on Android than OSX but I believe that in time OSX will almost catch up. Autopilot has many variables (a good thing) but because of that it does take...

Be Responsible! Think Before You Fly

Whist I fully agree with and fully support your comments about the brain-dead members of this planet misusing their quads I feel that such morons probably do not know the existence of, or care about forums like this one, and if they did, they have the one-brain-cell attitude of "no-one tells me...

Who actually calibrates their compass before every flight?

You are, of course, quite correct and thank you for clarifying the issue.

Who actually calibrates their compass before every flight?

What evidence do you have to support this?

If this is only your second location since buying it then well done - I didn't have the nerve to fly near water for ages after buying my first Phantom. You clearly have a talent and an eye for a good shot.

Who actually calibrates their compass before every flight?

As Meta4 suggested I re-read the thread and, I admit, I learned some stuff - albeit some of which was way too "high-brow" and "techie" for most! The consensus is fairly consistent re the need to re-calibrate as several contributors re-affirm what I wrote above re only re-calibrating after...

That would be a nice video if it wasn't for the changes in AE values mid-shot (they seem more manual that computer controlled !?!). May I suggest either investing in some good quality ND filters or using a ND-grad filter effect in post processing.

Who actually calibrates their compass before every flight?

I calibrate before each and every flight, and ensure that I'm well away from anything that can affect the compass when I do so. That said there is no need to do so as the likes of 'Tom's Teatime' and Simon Newton on 'On the kitchen table' YouTube publishers, among others, reinforce that there...

P2 and RC won't connect to my Mac Pro (El Capitan)

Sort of answered my own problem and in doing so I'm really disappointed with DJI support. The cable is not an issue - it's clearly a lack of support from DJI re the latest OS from Mac, and probably with Windows too. I have managed to connect the P2 via a laptop running Windows 7 so the IMU...

P2 and RC won't connect to my Mac Pro (El Capitan)

I must admit that I've been busy with my P3P and not used my P2 (with H4-3D and GoPro) for some time so I decided to get it out and recalibrate the IMU, the gimbal and RC. I downloaded the latest software for the P2 and the RC from the DJI website, installed the software, and attempted to do...

    Holiday tips

    1. Most will but it would be advisable to check local laws before flying. 2. Yes Kingston make the Mobile-Lite Wireless G2 (and they either just released or about to release an updated version) which you can insert the microSD card from the Phantom and transfer the files either wirelessly or via...

    Altitude help

I think that the fact that as the original poster has not submitted any further replies other than post number three may well indicate that he has detected the tone of the thread as being 'stay legal' and may well not want to - I will support Flying pug's robust comment 100%, stay within the law...
