I still don't trust DJI. IMHO everyone should have received a free WIFI replacement due to a design flaw (overheating).
I'm opening this new one up and making sure it is well pasted!
OP HERE
so I replaced the WIFI unit with a new one from helipal
Everything is working again. I had no image but all the telemetry.
QUESTION: They sold me the new Version of the Wi-Fi unit with the improved heat sinks and holes to dissipate heat
Do I STILL NEED to open it up and apply...
I've seen it on helipal and amazon for 189.99. Really? Is there anywhere cheaper?
Might as well put the 189 towards the P3 advanced, but then I'm stuck with all these P2 batteries
lol
Re: A Few Pics that wanted to share: really impressed with O
Agreed
The pictures were oversharpened in post edit and layers not properly isolated before editing
I've taken a lot of comparison shots. Unless your field of view is large (flying high up or far away like over mountains)
I just don't see a dramatic improvement in resolution with 1080p
The smoothness of 60fps is really the key
I welcome people to post their experiences
I've been spending time playing around with settings under different conditions and the latter seems better.
Obviously 60fps is better for slow mo but just regular speed playback is smoother
What's the benefit of shooting 1080p as 90% of playback is going to be on a 22" or smaller computer...
In the process you flip the picture upside down (vertical) before adding the polar coordinates distortion filter
Perhaps you can also flip it horizontally too.
I haven't tried it. Without the vertical flip... It makes it look like a tunnel instead of an earth
Good eye BTW!
