Maybe they run on different firmware? I thought since 1.5.7 is uses different encryption to connect. You cannot connect a RC with old firmware to a drone with 1.5.7 or 1.6.8

A little note on master Papatita suggestion..... You should run the MOD first without channel selection. After that you can easily test if the desired channel works for you with the command watchlog.sh -ch xx It will switch to the chosen channel untill you switch off the stuff, after switching...

No, the mod is only for Standard or Standard 4K, they use 2,4ghz wifi for video transfer which is optimised by the mod. The Advanced and Pro use Lightbridge for video transfer, complete different story.
